Company
Dan, Peg, Chris, Lindsey and their caring staff are proud to continue the Jonkhoff family’s rich heritage in funeral service at the Traverse City landmark, the Perry Hannah House. This historic landmark is beautifully maintained and provides a comforting, home-like setting, yet is equipped with the latest in audio-visual equipment including four flat screen televisions positioned strategically throughout the building. The televisions enable video tributes as well as the opportunity for all to see and hear our funeral or memorial services in the building.
Our company respects and satisfies each family’s unique needs by offering customized funeral service options and merchandise. We maintain the highest ethical standards, obey all laws, recognize and appreciate local customs and religious practices. We are committed to honoring and celebrating all lives that have been lived.
Our funeral home is a proud member of the following professional organizations and associations: Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association and the Michigan Funeral Directors Association. These memberships help us maintain our high standards of excellence in funeral service and provide invaluable continuing educational opportunities for our staff.
Our staff is attuned to the special needs of the community. The entire staff works, volunteers and socializes in the Traverse City area. Therefore, they are the best prepared to serve their friends, neighbors and the community at-large. Our staff members belong to various community service clubs such as Rotary, Zonta and Kiwanis. They hold board positions at Munson Medical Center, Munson Hospice, Traverse City Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Traverse Heritage Center, for example. We volunteer for both public and parochial school activities. The entire staff commits their time, talent and treasure in appreciation for the life they enjoy in Traverse City – the place we are all so very fortunate to call home.
