Dan and Peg JonkhoffDan (fifth generation funeral director) and Peg (administrative director) Jonkhoff have owned the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home since 1992. Dan's parents (Jack and Maxine) owned the funeral home prior to this time. Dan, Peg and their caring staff of professionals stand ready to help 365 days per year 24 hours per day.

  NEWS EVENTS AWARDS
  Lindsey Jonkhoff graduated in May 2008 from Bowling Green State University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is attending Wayne State University's School of Mortuary Science this year and eventually will join her sister, Chris, as a sixth generation funeral director. Lindsey follows her father's footsteps as he also attended Wayne State University and became a licensed funeral director in 1976.
Our 25th annual Holidays and Grief program was held on Saturday, November 8, 2008. The Holidays and Grief program provided bereaved adults and children with sensitive guidance and practical coping strategies to help them find their way through the holiday season.

Adam and Amanda Hilt attended the National Funeral Directors Association 127th Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida on October 12 - 15, 2008.

This continuing education opportunity as well as a Pursuit of Excellence ceremony awarded the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with their recently achieved 2008 Pursuit of Excellence award. This award of excellence honors firms for their outstanding service, professional integrity and dynamic public relations programs.

In addition to receiving the 2008 Pursuit of Excellence Award our firm has been inducted into NFDA's Hall of Excellence.

All of our funeral directors, except newly licensed Chris Jonkhoff, have achieved the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. To receive this award, the practitioner must complete a 180 hour program of continuing education activities and events. In addition, the practitioner is required to accumulate 20 hours per year to recertify.

CFSP Funeral Directors on staff include Dan Jonkhoff, John Roeser, Rick Harkert, Dan Zolik and Adam Hilt.
