Services
This section of our website reviews the highlights of our many funeral or memorial service options, funeral pre-arrangement information, memorial keepsakes and flowers you may order by calling the funeral home.
Service options:
Just as no two families are alike, no two funerals are alike either. There is no longer such thing as a traditional funeral. The choice is yours such as a formal gathering or private family service at the location of your choice. Visitation prior to the funeral or memorial service is always an option. Whatever your wishes, we’ll facilitate all of the details and make the arrangements for the ideal service to commemorate the life that was lived.
If you choose cremation, the choice is still yours regarding the presence of the body for the visitation and/or service. The cremation process can take place after visitation or the service. The choice is also yours regarding the type and location of memorial service.
Our funeral directors will listen to your individual family’s needs and help create a meaningful tribute to your loved one’s life. There are many decisions to make after the death of a loved one, but our funeral directors are trained professionals ready to offer caring guidance and support throughout the experience. Funeral Prearrangement:
After the death of a loved one, survivors may make more than120 decisions related to the funeral or memorial service. Today, many people today chose to make funeral pre-arrangements.
It is a growing trend that makes sense for three basic reasons. First, a comforting peace of mind results from having your final wishes recorded as a guide for your survivors. There will be no questions regarding what you would have wanted as your funeral prearrangement plan is in place. Anyone can prearrange regardless of health or age.
Secondly, a prearranged funeral spares your loved ones from having to make difficult decisions at a time of deep personal loss. Thirdly, planning ahead can relieve the financial responsibility as well, should you opt to pre-fund your funeral arrangements. Your prearrangements do not need to be funded. We can simply record your wishes and keep them on file at the funeral home.
For all the answers to your questions about funeral prearrangement, simply call the funeral home at 231-947-6347 and make an appointment to meet with one of our certified pre-planning consultants.
